Within the midsole is a full-length carbon-fiber Flyplate that sits at a higher angle than in the Vaporfly 3, this combines with a lower overall heel-to-toe offset to provide a propulsive feel to each stride. Around the heel you can see a slight bulge, helping to add a little more stability while shaving a little weight in other places. Up top is the engineered mesh upper, redesigned to reduce weight by reducing the size of the tongue and heel.
